26 years Mansholt

In 1983 the first business was opened as a family business in Walsrode. At that time still as a pure golden buying and a little bit bulkily as "trade with objects and break from noble and base metals" called. During the following years other shops originated in Zeven, Verden in all and in Bremen.
In 1985 we moved the main business in Bremen Neustadt, Westerstrasse 9.In 1999 we opened a studio for fine golden work and silversmith's work in the Oldenburg city centre, Haarenstrasse 34. At the same time this website went on-line. www.mansholt.de
In 2000 as the first Oldenburg goldsmiths we found an education group to the promotion of young people, at that time with the Oytener goldsmiths Mastej
In October, 2002 Bernd Mansholt was distinguished for prominent achievements with the apprentice's education (chamber winner and land winner Lower Saxony) by the chamber of trade Oldenburg.
4th of July, 2004 - Our family throws the linen get rid and begins NIS RANDERS to a 2-year-old trip around the world on the sailing ship to come along on the "search for the nicest island of the world". About the website www.WirHauenAb.de is reported in detail about the events aboard. She becomes after few months the most successful private sail website of Germany (more than 1.5 million visitors) and is the first travel report generally which reports in a daily updated diary also about high sea about a circumnavigation.
August, 2006: With 22 host country flags in the luggage, many experienced adventures and more than 50 000 kilometres in the wake the Mansholts swept as a Weltumsegler back to Oldenburg.
In November, 2006 the reopening of our goldsmiths occurs. The work in the new offices in the Ofenerdieker street 59 is pleasant not only because of the friendly atmosphere; to know that the daily used tools have sailed together with us around the world, doubles the fun in the work.
In the new location Mansholt invests in 2006 as the first Oldenburg goldsmiths in the trendsetting laser technology. With a high-capacity laser in own workshop up to now unequalled possibilities disclose by the implementation of creation wishes.
In September, 2007 the book appears to the trip "We clear out!" On 280 sides Daniel and Bernd Mansholt about the 2-year-old "Weltumsegelung report in the family stack". Some chapters in the book act directly or indirectly from the goldsmith. Thus sunglasses and lego bricks were exchanged, e.g., in the South Pacific, French Polynesia for Tahiti cultured pearls and in Papua New Guinea they got as a gift of local Goldnuggets, after they were attacked by robbers. Food was paid into American Samoa with a diamond follower made aboard.
October, 2007: Bernd and Daniel Mansholt proceed on common reader's ice. During a 2-hour multi vision show father and son report all over the country in bookstores, cultural centres and on maritime fairs about the circumnavigation.
In October, 2007 we expanded our service offer further. We explain the drilling and loops (also Einschleifarbeiten) from precious stones in own workshop.
Our fourth trainee is called Janika bar and belongs since November, 2007 to the team. She has persuaded us in a training period of her achievements and begins her education in the goldsmith and silversmith at the beginning of December, 2007

Also in November, 2007 we present for the first time an exclusive Christmas exhibition with a slide talk and a special exhibition to we to advisers Klauses Scheurer with his team could win. In May, 2008 we invest in a centre lathe. New possibilities thereby arise in manufacturing.
Also in May, 2008 the big laser device is substituted with an efficient light curve welding apparatus of the newest generation. The advantages for the customer are obvious: Lower production costs by more efficient work as well as assembly free of plumb line of pieces of jewellery. The skilful combination of traditional and more fashionably innovative technologies asserts itself fast, the customers are inspired.
June, 2008: We move! The new address in the Oldenburg city centre is: Mottenstrasse 5, 26122 Oldenburg
Foundation of a new education group with the goldsmiths TITO Oldenburg
Other trips follow to the precious stone mines in Ratnapura/Sri Lanka from which we import precious stones to Germany.
